The first thing to do is to insert SIM card and check whether SIM is recognized by CONPROSYS. You can check RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) by [Status] -[System] menu of CONPROSYS.
At this moment, there is no need to configure like APN, username, password, etc.

If SIM is recognized, RSSI value is displayed like this.

If SIM is not recognized or radio wave intensity is too weak, "Not Found" message is displayed.

RSSI is obtained in real time when WEB page is loaded. Change a location of CONPROSYS and reload page if you can not get good RSSI value.

You can see if SIM card is ready to use by executing ifconfig from [Maintenance] - [Network] from CONPROSYS menu. If SIM card is registered and activated properly, IP address is assigned like below picture. In case of CPS-MG341G-ADSC1-930, 3G network is shown as eth2. (eth0 and eth1 are network for LAN A and LAN B. )

If eth2 is not shown or IP address is not assigned, confirm the following.
  • Whether SIM card is registered and activated properly.
  • Whether AT&T or T-Mobile are supported by SIM card. (CONPROSYS does not support Verizon network.)
