Easy way to check OPC UA function

Is there any easy way ho check OPC UA function of CONPROSYS?

There are some free OPC UA client tools provided by vendors.
This time let's check OPC UA function by using UaExpert from Unified Automation.
No configuration for CONPROSYS is necessary.

1. Download and install UaExpert
You can download UaExpert from below link. (You need to register to download UaExpert)

2. Start UaExpert and add server


3. Double click + icon under [Custom Discovery]


4. Enter URL of CONPROSYS


5. OPC UA server is discovered, open [CpsUaServer] tree and select [None - None] then click [OK]
Each list means security and authentication option and this time we use no security and no authentication as test purpose.


6. Check [Accept the server certificate temporarily for this session] and click [Continue]

7. Open tree from [Address Space] and drag & drop UA node to [Data Access View]

Current value of digital input 0 is displayed as true or false in Value column.

8. For digital output, drag & drop UA node as well and double click Value column then you can change the status of digital output.
